Medigap Plan D is a standardized Medicare Supplement option that covers many out-of-pocket expenses, including the Part A deductible, skilled nursing facility coinsurance, and 80% of eligible foreign travel emergency costs.
It provides broad coverage similar to Plan G, but does not pay the Part B deductible or Part B excess charges.
Medigap Plan D is not a Drug Plan, that is seperate from the supplement.

The Medigap policy will only pay your coinsurance after you’ve paid the deductible (unless the Medigap policy also covers your deductible).
